Withrespect to eachitem for which Import Fees have been calculated,you authorize Amazon ExportorMerchant(asapplicable)todesignateacarrier("DesignatedCarrier")toactasyouragent withthe relevant customs and tax authoritiesinthe destination country, to clear your merchandise, processand remit your actualImport Fees for suchitem.
"Import Fees Deposit" represents an estimate of the Import Feesthat willbe levied on the itemsin your order for shipment to countriesoutside of the U.S. Byplacing your order, you agree to allow Amazon Export and/or Merchant (asapplicable) to collect the Import Fees Deposit for the applicableitems inyour order. This deposit willbe used,on your behalf, to reimburse the DesignatedCarriers for the import fees that they have paid on your behalfto theappropriate authoritiesof the destination country.
You further agree that the Designated Carriers may disclose toAmazon Export or Merchant (as applicable) the amount of actualImport Fees levied on the item you have purchased from Amazon Exportand/or Merchant ("ActualImport Fees"). In the event that the Import FeesDeposit exceeds the ActualImport Fees, Amazon Export or Merchant (as applicable) will refundthe difference to you.
In the caseof giftsor other purchasesmade on behalf of another recipient, you also agree to grant the foregoing authorizations on behalf of the recipient designatedin your order.
To obtain detailsregarding the ActualImport Fees, or to obtaindocumentation or receiptsin connection withcustoms clearance, you may contact the Designated Carrier specified inyour shipment confirmation.
These terms and conditionsare inaddition to the standard Conditionsof Use of the Amazon website.Pursuant to those terms, title and riskof lossfor the items transfer to the recipientupon delivery tothe common carrier inthe United States.
Pleasenote that Merchantsparticipating inthe International Direct program may have policies that differ from Amazon Export's terms and conditions.For items you have purchasedfrom a Merchant, pleasesee the applicableMerchant's policiesfor any other terms and conditions that may apply to your purchaseof such items.

For products shippedinternationally, pleasenote that any manufacturer warranty may not be valid; manufacturer service optionsmay not be available;product manuals,instructions and safety warnings may not be in destination countrylanguages; the products (and accompanying materials) may not be designed inaccordance with destinationcountry standards,specifications, and labeling requirements; and the productsmay not conform to destination country voltage and other electrical standards(requiringuseofanadapterorconverter ifappropriate). Youareresponsibleforassuring that the product can be lawfullyimported to the destination country. Whenordering from Amazon.com, the recipientisthe importer of record and must complywith alllaws and regulations of the destination country.
